With the promotion temptation and feedback from my friends, i decided to sign a 1-year data charge plan with Singtel so I can surf on the go with my Jet phone..
Little did i know, it caused me more trouble than convenience!
First, i can't surf at all and had to call Singtel 3 times to check if my plan is activated. During the last call, they told me it was activated and everything was fine on their side.. so the problem lies on my hp and i better check with Samsung on that.
Fine.
Few days later, i approached Samsung Mobile shop and highlighted to them the problem i am facing. They took quite some time to check my hp...........and in the end they told me... :"i think the problem lies with Singtel, you better check with them." It's the worst answer i wish to hear after they reset my hp and tried my sim card on another hp.
PENGZ.
Although the 'seems to be expert' non-local told me this, i was wondering at the back of my mind if it has to do with the network problem. I had this thinking because i was having a hard time sending my smses out while i was sitting there waiting for my turn.. i had to step out of Samsung shop in order to send out the sms. Yes, i should have clarified with him but i can't!! I tried to convey it to him but he does not seems to understand my English V_V"
Feeling grumpy, i walked to Singtel shop which is directly opposite Samsung shop.. at the same time, i was trying to access the internet to give it a try if my assumption is correct.
BINGO.
Even before i get my queue no, a website pop into my phone!!
PERIOD???? Neh........i had only one night of happiness before i discovered...
I CAN't surf HOTMAIL & see youtube VIDEOS on my phone!!
SHIT. PROB AGAIN. (at this pt of time, i regretted signing the plan)
Yes... i knocked the door of Samsung again..(hate that place now)
Told the counter guy what happened again. He said some hp wont be able to surf some websites and hotmail is one. (WHAT more can i say??) He then advised me to push my hotmail emails to sms mailbox so i can view them on my mobile hp. (since it's the only method for me to check emails from my commonly used email.. i'm willing to try). BUT He went to the back door for abt 10 mins and came back with a disappointing answer..because he can't configure the set-up.
"I'm sorry. I can't contact our IT ppl at Causeway point. Only causeway pt has IT support ppl..."
Faint. It means i have to call samsung during working hrs and seek advise from their IT support staffs at woodland.
Luckily SCB was there or else i would have been super sian.
You know what? 30 mins ago... i felt that... i should try to look for the solution online and probably see if i can link my hotmail to other emails i have since i can check Yahoo and Gmail.
天无绝人之路! I found the solutions all by myself!!
Hotmail website has the solution!
Youtube help site has the solution too!
all i need to do is to key in another website specially for mobile usage.

Really a waste of my time.. Such a big circle i have walked through...
No matter what, I was so damn happy to see videos playing on my hP~~
