Once again, i was surrounded by 婚礼幸福洋溢的气息 last night. .
It happened to my cousin this time round. She is 1 year older than me.
Her wedding has the normal routine of other weddings that I attended except that the 常驻菜肴 - Shark Fin was replaced by Bird Nest which tasted a bit like Shark Fin. 异曲同工之妙。。。
I didn't know much of the r/s btw my cousin and her hubby but i was amazed to find out that they have been tog since 2001! Wow! That is really long... how many couples could actually date with each other for so long before they get married.
Usually at such events, relatives will start asking:" so when it's your turn?" Especially if according to age, what comes next will be my brother & I. Of cos my brother was arrowed with the qns more often than I. Furthermore, his gf was present too.
Getting a flat. . . Marriage ritual. . . Housework. . . Baby. . .
GOSH! I cannot imagine how i am going to cope with it if the 'M' day approaches.
I still heavily depend on my mum......so haha... i have to admit the thought frighten me a bit bit..
The other day, i realised my best friend is considering a flat. Time really flies.. i know she will def be earlier than me but hearing the news is a tiny shock for me as she's gonna step into a new world soon. '恐怖'。。。
Besides this, my work encounters with low income families trigger my thoughts too. As I dig into their stories, you will realise having a family is hard. Especially with no $, family might become a burden......
Okay, let's skip the topic...
My water heater is spoilt *SAD*
This makes me realise how impt he is to me............
I can't stand cold and.......... yah, i have to tahan with his sickness for 2 weeks until my heroic Dad comes back to rescue him.
So my day routine will not start from bathing first... it will start from boiling water first.
Speaking of this, i have recently brochures, magnet and stickers on teaching households how to save electricity & water. Useful piece of info as it is what I have been teaching my clients all along. The hardest people i wish to relate the info to are not clients but my family members....
looking at my May utility bill gives me heart pain.. especially when i was not even at home for 2 weeks in May!!! If this goes on... 10% of my salary will go to SP Services Ltd one day.
My parents were the one who took care of all these when i'm young & of cos i won't know how to save at the time. I didn't even care how high my utility bill was. Reading bills - 'Neh~' But now, reading bills are part and parcel of my life. Looking at those figures make me matures. Sometimes when i meet clients who has children who does not know how to save, i will ask them to show their utility bills etc to their children and compare it with their salary. Looking at the comparative percentage figure could frighten them. i have 1-2 clients that did so and it works! :)
I shall stop blogging for now as i'm going to step out of house to watch 'Sex & the City'
Good Day Mate~
