A busy, fun & tired week
This week is orientation week for newbies in my coy so everyday i will have to fork out 2 hrs to attend lectures.. Due to 2 hr loss everyday, my work is piling up & i believe (strongly believe) i may need to do OT next week. @_@
Nevertheless, I had a interesting week.
Monday - Nothin much except my brother striked toto. PK also bought toto but he nv strike toto. I shld be happy tt my bro striko toto right? (third grand price shared btw 900+ ppl, equivalent to $1300 per person) Neh.. im nt... and y isit so? it's a long & depressing story..
Sthg bo liao tt i wan to mention --> I saw a bus leak internally!! Hahaa.. (it's the aircon) The amt of water tt dripped down from the bus-top is a lot! It wet the whole of middle part of bus. Of cos no one dares to stand thr.. luckily it's non-peak hr or else ppl who wishes to squeeze into the bus will kao bei why ppl inside the bus dun wan to move in..
Another bo liao thin i wan to mention --> Sandwich near my work place (town area) cost $1.20 & sandwich at Boon Lay bus interchange cost $1.60. SIAO! who will buy their sandwich?
Tuesday - All the newbies gathered to have lunch tog.. it was great. A huge grp of 9 ppl!! We decided to go Hooters. $12 for a big glass of lemon tea, carrot soup + garlic bread, Sirloin Steak main course, Ice-cream & Tea....worth it right? I aimed onli to spend $10 on food everyday but........ i guess it;s hard, realli hard. MLing's bf who worked at the same place previously for 2 yrs went to Hooters once onli and me, at MOM for 1 mth plus already been to Hooters twice.
Wed - I met up with Chia & Pk after work.. had a simple meal at JP Kopitiam & somehow catch up a bit wif Chia. =) Both of us accompanied Chia home & PK accompanied me home.. Chia looked much happier now & gained more weight as told by Pk. (moi cant tell the diff cos nt observant)
Thurs - Zming's bdae celebration!!! ME & Elaine bought nothin for him.. hahaha.. but of cos we gt treat him la, to a place which he nv been to. ( I was damn shocked wen i knew he nv been to FISH & CO b4!! ) I was even more shocked wen i knew Elaine is attached!! *smile* Furthermore.................. she's going to be a tai-tai!! hahaha.. A bf who drives a mini cooper, has a lao bei who drives BMW, has a family business & lives in a freehold private bungalow/terrace... wa liew, first time pak tor & hook a big fish, 厉害厉害！！
Let me comment on F&C food. Needless to say, known to be delicious. . .their calamari bagus!! Much more delicious than b4..... *drool* Further discovered their salad & pasta is nice too. The only thin standard has dropped is their peri peri prawn.. not onli does it sticks to the shell, they garnish it with thousand island sauce, yucks!
Friday - My cravin has been satisfied!! Steamboat craving *slurp..*
I love Rajah Inn (Tiong Bahru).. food up to standard esp the cooked food... Daren & PK ate until super full, i ok ok onli... As for MLing, she was happy to savour in her choco fondue. Nice!!
Daren giving Mling a surprise tt day cos it's their 3rd mth anni.. so sweet. I advised him wat flower to buy.. hehe.. Mling is fortunate to have such a sweet bf =D
Saturday - Morning need to work *YAWN* Nevertheless, still unable to clear the stack of appeals on my table.. sigh ya.. i too talkative le.. gt ppl come into my cubicle, i will def chit-chat, haha
下午我过的很累。。i wanted to fell asleep due to accumulation of sleeping bugs & tiredness over the week. Pk supposed to pei me until 5.30pm. He was pek cek (cos of $30 traffic fine) & i was tired & eager to find a nice pair of comfy shoes to replace my uncomfortable, painful high heels shoes. Towrds 5.30pm, his mood improved & i found a great pair of shoes from NOda ($33.XX). We head to starbucks, i felt sleepy again.. (sat on sofa). Soon, i felt cold. We then shifted from inside to outside den we started taking funnie & stupid photos tog.
5.30pm: Cake collection time with Paul & KK~ Wat's the occasion? To celeb Aug babies bdae!! Tt includes Lquan, Chew & Kev. What's the cake?
Raspberry White chocolate cake.. hmm... didnt turn out as nice as i tot but it's special la, though very very very creamy.
Food at Ritz carlton was nice. Initially i felt Ritz Carlton is better than Shang Ri La cos the main food there are seafood which is my fav!! However, as i ate more, i realised the choices of food thr are limited & almost all the seafood are cold dishes. Very ke xi that my appetite wasnt tt good so didnt makan much at all. I onli ate 1 & a half lobster =( Wasted!
There's lobster, crab, cold prawn, crayfish, mussels, clams, oyster, cooked lobster...........
There's cooked food also..
There's shark fin soup..
There's choco, indonesian-kinda desserts, cakes, bread.......

Everyone is happily eating & chatting.. & Kev presented a gift to every graduates *touching moment*
It's hard for me to describe in details how the gift is like. Basically it's a pencil/pen holder & it's a 1 pencil/pen holder. It's cute with CBLC colours (Black & Orange). I love it =) It's adorable... sobz, Thanks!!
Will upload the photo later bah.. picture says it all. Anyway, tink we took photos like siao kids tt day. Hahaa..
Hehe.. our total bill is $931. FREEEEeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee
Next, we went KTV. 13 person for the price of 8? Can u imagine tt? 其实我们满幸运的。。all we did is just stand in front of Kbox & calculate how much each individual will have to pay after deduction of $100 (Happily sponsored by my cca PF), the stuff from kbox came out twice to reduce the price for us. 1st time, she reduces to 10 ppl. 2nd time, she reduces to 8. Oh gosh...... Hmm.. interestin..their boss is smart. It's a win-win situation anyway. In the end, each of us onli paid ard $11. Sat Night. It's cheap!
We sang all the way till 4 am .. reallly dead beat tired. It's way past my normal sleepin time. Reached home at 5am. . .
Nevertheless, I had a interesting week.

Yeah, tt's right! It's Malaysia Biggie sale right now!!
From frens' sway encounters to incidents on newpapers or from ppl's advice, i learnt what i should take note of when i go Malaysia:
(1) Never to bring hand-carry bags. (Rabbit's fav tote bag snatched by bikers as example)
(2) Shift your sling bag facing inward wen walkin along road side. (Mum & Cheng's advice)
(3) Hold on TIGHTLY to whatever bag that you are carrying esp along roadside, ulu alley, dark places, what u deemed as unsafe places.
(4) Ensure ur bag's material is tough!! Meaning not easily cut open by knife or sharp objects.
(5) Back-pack is acceptable provided
(i) you dress simple. Best to dress lok kok.
(ii) Dun put any valuables in ur bag-pack or put it in a super-duper inner compartment.
(6) As mentioned earlier, dress SIMPLE. No brand tee + no brand berm best! Dun dress like a Ah Sia Kia. Nice top + nice cargo pants + Crumpler bag + carrying a Levi shoppin bag is a big NO-NO (Live example from fren called Gerd & advice from Paul. Hahaha )
(7) Wear tight tight jeans with tight pocket & squeeze ur valuables inside. No way is the pick-pocket goin to 挤 his hand right into ur pocket w/o u noticing. No loose pockets (Live eg from Gerd once again)
Please be careful & alert wen u go Msia..
